Attachments -- need to allow .dxf

Postby DaveCurtis on Wed Jul 28, 2010 12:30 pm

I just tried to attach a .dxf file to one of my posts, but it was disallowed. That should be fixed. After all, members are going to want to exchange design files. The file I was trying to upload is the mold plan for the injection molding machine -- everyone who designs a mold needs the mold plan drawing in some form. In this case, having one thread that has the most recent drawing and all the Q&A about the mold plan is a perfect use of the forum.

Dave-
You asked for it, and you got it.

The forums now accept .dxf AND .dwg files for attachment. We will be looking into other common file formats to add as well.

Most excellent! Thanks!
I uploaded a .dxf file to: Specific tools and equipment->plastics and composite->Morgan G100T mold plan
could we make that a sticky?
Thanks,
Dave
