High density particle board used on ShopBot

High density particle board used on ShopBot

I am looking for a source for hight density particle board. I have seen some of this material being used on the ShopBot at the techshop. I want to try using 1" thick circles to build-up metal spinning mandrels.

Do you mean MDF (medium density fiberboard)?
