Morgan G-100T mold plan dxf file

Postby DaveCurtis on Thu Jul 29, 2010 8:41 am

The forum won't let me upload a .dxf file -- hopefully that will be fixed soon. In the mean time, a file named "InjMoldSBU-mold-plan.dxf" is on all the hub machines. It is an electronic version of the drawing in the SBU notes. Each function is on a different drawing layer, so you can turn off or delete pieces that you don't need.

If you have questions about this file, please add them to this thread so that the mold plan Q&A are all in one place.

OK, forum has been fixed now to allow .dxf files to be uploaded. This drawing is missing the nozzle clearance hole in the upper platen. I'll upload an update when I get that fixed. In the mean time, remember that a 4 x 4 inch mold is a good minimum size to get sufficient contact area with the upper platen.
